A Group Exhibition and So Much More at LAFA
As part of our current group exhibition, we’re delighted to invite you to a special cultural evening a gathering that not only reflects on the themes of the exhibition, but also honours the living culture that surrounds us.
LAFA is deeply rooted in the La area, a historic seat of Ga identity. In recognition of this, the evening will also celebrate Ga culture and tradition, with the Ga Traditional Council joining us as honoured guests. Their presence is a profound reminder of the cultural heartbeat of our city and the importance of intergenerational exchange.
We will also take this opportunity to officially unveil several of LAFA’s community-centred initiatives, including:
– our Art Therapy programme
– our Experiential learning sessions
– the LAFA Children’s Art & Mentorship Competition and
– our broader efforts in creative education, cultural preservation and public engagement.
These initiatives reflect our belief that art is not only to be viewed, but lived with, learned from, and shared.
We look forward to welcoming you not just as visitors, but as collaborators in a growing movement to reimagine cultural spaces in Ghana and beyond.
Come see what we’re building together.
